Permitted Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Permitted Use Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the terms and conditions governing your access to and use of the Services, as defined in Doodle’s Terms and Conditions (the “T&Cs”). For the purposes of this Policy, “you” refers to the user of the Services, and “Doodle”, “we”, or “us” refers to Doodle as defined in the T&Cs.

This Policy is incorporated into the T&Cs by reference. By clicking the relevant prompt or checkbox, or by accessing or using the Services, whichever occurs first, you agree to be bound by the T&Cs, including this Policy, as amended by Doodle from time to time.

1.1 You are an adult

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are not intended for, and may not be used by, minors. You represent and warrant that you are of legal age and that each guest to whom you send an invitation also meets the requirements of this Policy and is authorized to use the Services.

You may use the Services only if the foregoing statements are true. You are responsible for the acts and omissions of all guests or other third parties to whom you send invitations.

Without limiting any rights or remedies available to Doodle under the T&Cs, Doodle may, at any time and without liability to you, suspend, restrict, modify, or terminate (temporarily or permanently) your access to the Services if Doodle has reason to believe that you or any guest under your account has violated this Policy.

1.2 Our rules apply

To ensure the safe and proper use of the Services, all users must comply with this Policy and with any other applicable policies established by Doodle or by third-party service providers, as identified by Doodle from time to time at its discretion.

If you become aware of any inappropriate behavior or content on the Services, please report it to Doodle.

2. Basic rules

2.1 As a User, you are required to comply with our General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”), which incorporate this Permitted Use Policy.

2.2 You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, without limitation, intellectual property laws, data protection and export control laws, and any regulations issued by governmental authorities that apply to your use of the Services.

2.3 You must treat your password and all other login credentials as confidential.

2.4 You are responsible for monitoring and controlling all activities carried out through your account in connection with the Services.

2.5 You must inform us immediately if you become aware of, or have reason to believe that, any illegal or unauthorized activities are taking place in connection with your account, or that data security is at risk, including in cases of loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure or use of a username, password, or account.

2.6 You must comply in all respects with all applicable terms and conditions governing the use of third-party applications, including Integrations (as defined in our GTC).

2.7 You consent to Doodle’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://doodle.com/en/privacy-policy/. Doodle reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, filter, modify, reject, or delete content or accounts within the Services.

3. Prohibitions

3.1 When using the Services, do not represent yourself as another person or entity, including an “administrator”, “owner”, or other authorized user, and do not provide any false or misleading information about your relationship with any person, entity, or company.

3.2 Do not give anyone else access to your assigned account, including by sharing or transferring it.

3.3 You agree not to deliberately disrupt or interrupt the Services, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Services, in any manner.

3.4 You agree not to reproduce, copy, sell, trade, or redistribute the Services for any purpose, and not to use the Services for personal gain, including through sublicensing, reselling, or providing them in exchange for payment.

3.5 Do not use the Services to store or transfer information if doing so would infringe third-party rights, including trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights, or otherwise violate applicable law.

3.6 Do not use the Services to upload or transmit any data, files, software, or links that contain viruses, Trojans, worms, or other harmful components, or that download, transmit, or access illegal content or data, or access any content or data stored in the Services or on Doodle’s or any third party’s hardware without authorization.

3.7 Refrain from attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, deactivate, obstruct, disassemble, modify, copy, translate, or otherwise interfere with the characteristics, functionality, integrity, or performance of the Services (including any mechanisms used to restrict or control the Services), the use of the Services by third parties, or any third-party data contained therein, to the extent permitted by law.

3.8 Refrain from attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services or to any systems or networks connected to the Services, or from overriding, undermining, circumventing, removing, deactivating, or otherwise rendering ineffective any software protection or monitoring mechanisms.

3.9 Do not use the Services to develop similar or competing products or services, or to copy ideas, features, functions, or visual elements of the Services.

3.10 Do not use the Services in any manner that could harm other Users or minors.

3.11 Use only Doodle’s supported interfaces to access the Services and to create accounts. Activities such as scraping or the simultaneous creation of a large number of accounts are prohibited.

3.12 Do not send, post, or procure the sending or posting of any unsolicited messages, advertisements, or spam, including “junk mail”, “chain letters”, or similar solicitations.

3.13 Do not use any contact details or other user information (including email addresses) obtained through the Services to contact Users outside of the Services without their express permission, or to create or share distribution lists or other compilations of user data for use outside of the Services. Users may vote on another person’s behalf using the Group Poll vote-on-behalf feature only where there is reasonable familiarity between both parties and express prior permission. If Doodle believes that a User is abusing this feature, or if such abuse is reported, Doodle may, at its sole discretion, immediately block, deactivate, or revoke that User’s access to the Services, in whole or in part.

3.14 You acknowledge that, by using the Services, you may be exposed to messages that are offensive, indecent, or otherwise objectionable. Doodle does not accept responsibility for such messages transmitted by other Users through the Services.

3.15 Do not use any robot, spider, or other automated or manual process or means to access the Services for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any material accessible through the Services, including any software or applications used by Doodle to provide the Services.
