All kinds. You don’t need to be a Doodle user, computer expert or technology enthusiast to sign up. Anyone who is over the age of 18 and has ever used the Internet in any way can join the program.

We want to ensure that the studies you participate in are relevant to you, so it may take time before we contact you. Because we're looking for a good match, we can’t guarantee that everyone who applies will participate. We may contact you at any point as long as you remain registered.

All the information you provide is kept confidential per the [Doodle Privacy Policy](https://doodle.com/en/privacy-policy/ "Doodle Privacy Policy"). We only use it to help us find suitable participants for our research studies. We would only contact you to invite you to participate in a study or to clarify some information you provided.

You can terminate your participation in the Doodle Research Program at any time by sending us a short email to [email protected]

Doodle runs a variety of study types. You may receive an invite to participate in any of the following studies: __Remote usability study__ We’ll gather your feedback via a screen-sharing session with a researcher in these studies. In this session, you will be asked questions or provide feedback about a process or design. You’ll need a high-speed Internet connection to participate remotely. __Surveys__ For these studies, you only need to fill in a survey. Please note that we don’t offer gifts for participating in a survey, but we’re highly appreciative and take your input seriously.

Gifts are Doodle’s way of saying thank you to those who participated in research studies that improved our products and experiences.

If your session is eligible for a thank-you gift, you should receive it three to five working days after completion. Please note that not all study participants will receive a thank-you gift.
