Native speaker of English, I teach Indonesian and learned French to advanced level, my German is pretty basic. A lot of disconnected Latin and snippets of various others.

I speak Yoruba and Igbo. Both are Kwa languages spoken in Nigeria. Yoruba is also spoken in Republic of Benin and Togo.

I've done a quick search and find that: 'The recent research showed that China currently has 5 major different language families and 129 different languages, excluding dialects or sub-dialects. The research was published in the academic source "China Languages" (Zhongguo Yuyan 《中国的语言》) by Commercial Press.'
Therefore, I suggest that it would be a good idea that we excluded all the dialects such as Cantonese on your language list to avoid confusing.

Perhaps we should be asked to what degree we speak the languages?
The languages I speak best, apart from English, are Welsh and Breton. I also have basic Basque.

Italian, Aramaic and Yiddish are very limited...I have some command of them but I wouldn't survive in Aramaic for sure!
